When Chris Dziedzic purchased Twin City Truck Centre (TCTC) in 2009, the dealership had 43 employees and immense growth potential. Chris’s leadership saw the sale of the first truck, a Kenworth T608, to Whiteley’s Transport Pty Ltd. TCTC quickly earned accolades, winning the 2009 DAF Service Dealer of the Year and the 2010 Kenworth Dealer of the Year.
In 2012, Justin (Brooksy) Brooks became a junior partner. Brooksy is one of Australia’s top Kenworth salespeople and continues to lead the sales team in providing exceptional sales and service to customers. Following the company’s vision to offer a complete service to customers, Twin Quay Financial Services (now MAKE Finance) was launched in 2011 to bring finance options in-house.
Major milestones include selling the 500th truck in 2013 to Minitrax Earthworx and the 1000th truck in 2017 to Joel Watson Pty Ltd. TCTC’s diversification saw the launch of the e-commerce store YouBuyOnline in 2016, growing from 800 to over 80,000 listings, and the truck parts store Truckparts.com.au in 2017. In 2019, TCTC sold its 1500th truck to longstanding customer, Terrifik Pty Ltd. The following year, TCTC introduced PacLease in Wodonga and Canberra, offering truck leasing and rental services.
Despite COVID-19 challenges, TCTC continued to grow. David Burn was appointed Dealer Principal in 2021, and TCTC acquired and rebranded Rice Graphics to Twin City Graphics, now Sign Effects, and expanded operations.
By 2022, with 145 employees, TCTC delivered its 2000th truck to Dawsons Haulage Pty Ltd and further expanded its facilities to include commercial properties at 1 Stead Street, Wodonga and a development site on Wagga Road, Lavington. Stead Street is now the Dealerships Pre-Delivery Centre. In 2024, TCTC launched Brandjam Creative, a marketing arm supporting all 10 TCTC businesses and external clients. Now known as the Twin City Group, TCTC has 157 employees, operates over 10 acres, and has sold over 2,906 trucks, continuously reinvesting in the business to drive further growth.
